Let me begin by saying, when we decided to go to Croatia, I had no idea what to expect. At all. I don't know anyone who has been to Croatia, but after this trip if I ever have to chance to return, I would in a heartbeat.
We went to a small town in Croatia called Rijeka. It was little town right on the water. It was so amazing to see a little town that wasn't super touristy. On our way there we had to go through Austria and Slovenia. We all had Eurail passes which turned out to be really handy! (Most of the time.) I had regional passes for each country we went to. There was only one problem. I had to validate each pass in each country at the train station. Sometimes this got a little complicated because we were just passing through a country in the early hours of the morning when the train station was not open but we avoided all problems that we could have run into with that!
On our train from Austria to Croatia, we rode through the countryside when the sun was rising. I tried to stay for this as long as a good because I wanted to get some good pictures. I will forever remember this train ride. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

When we got to Croatia we spent the day walking around town and exploring! The city was so beautiful and the weather was great while we were there! We decided we would wake up early the next morning and watch the sun rise!
I absolutely LOVED Croatia! This city was so beautiful and the people were so nice. They loved us! We spent the whole day relaxing and walking around the city. I ate a Croatian popsicle too!
This was best sandwich I have ever had in my life.
This was such an amazing dinner!
Don't let the check fool you. Our dinner cost each of us about 13 euros.
There were a few things that really started to mess with my head while we were traveling. We visited four countries in one week which meant four different languages. I don't know about you but I don't know how to speak any Croatian. (Except, hvala means thank you. That is about all I learned.) Not only was it confusing hearing all of these different languages, even though they were all really cool, the different currencies were confusing. In Croatia 16 'kunas' was about only about two euros. It was great that the city was so cheap for us!
Croatia was possibly my favorite place we visited, but I could also say the same about Vienna, Prague, and Milan. I loved everywhere we went!
